Investment and funding
£2.25m of funding for the project has been awarded to the council from the Lancashire Getting Building Fund from Lancashire Enterprise Partnership and HM Government's Northern Powerhouse.
To date the government has awarded £319.7m from the Getting Building Fund in the Northern Powerhouse. This is providing targeted financial support to locally determined projects in order to unlock growth and give local people the powers and tools they need to drive forward growth for their areas.
Lancashire has received £34.1m from the Getting Building Fund which has been allocated to 10 projects across the County.
