In 2020 we recycled:

21,145 tonnes of household waste, which is about the same weight as 211 blue whales. 1 tonne is about the weight of a small car. This is an increase of 2,777 tonnes (13%) from 2019
A total of 4,872 tonnes (13% increase) of extra household waste and recycling has been collected since April 2020, compared to the previous year
27% increase in glass bottles, cans, plastic bottles, pots, tubs and trays recycled
14% increase in paper and card recycled
Over 15,000 bins are emptied by us each day (Monday to Friday)
11% increase in garden waste recycled
