Chorley Borough Council Local Government Act 2000 Petitions for Elected Mayoral Referendums

In accordance with the Local Authorities (Referendums) (Petitions & Directions) Regulations 2000 (as amended), I am giving notice that the number equal to 5 per cent of the number of local government electors shown in the electoral register for the authority's area as of 15th February 2024 is: -

                                                      4330 electors

The number published above shall be used for verification purposes in relation to any petition presented to the authority in the period of 12 months beginning with 1st April 2024.
