Chorley cemeteries

We have 2 cemeteries, one located just outside Chorley town centre on Southport Road, PR7 1LL and the other on Chapel Street, Adlington PR7 4JL.

Both cemeteries are open 24 hours, 365 days a year.

When the cemeteries were established they were divided into different religions (Established Church, Roman Catholic and Dissenter or Non-conformist sections). These religious divides still remain in operation today although many people use different reasons when choosing their final resting place. 

In addition Chorley and Adlington cemeteries have a family ashes section for interment of ashes.

Chorley cemetery also has a garden of remembrance, a baby section and a Muslim section.
