About Chorley markets

Chorley is famous for its markets, which date back to 1498. The most popular market day is Tuesday.

There are 2 main markets in Chorley. Chorley covered market, which makes up the heart of the town and operates 4 days a week, and Chorley's Tuesday market, which sees everyone's favourite stalls lining Fazakerley Street, Chapel Street, New Market Street, Cleveland Street, Market Street and the bottom half of High Street.

We have more than 150 stalls on our busiest day meaning Chorley markets are a great place to sell your goods. Our stalls are always in demand, but we welcome new traders and casual traders who wish to trade on Chorley markets.

Both markets are situated in the centre of town with excellent transport links and ample parking, view town centre parking and charges.
