In order to support Driving Instructors, we have launched an Additional Restrictions Grants scheme specifically for this sector.
Please see information below including eligibility criteria and a form to complete by 11:59pm Wednesday 5 May 2021 if driving instructors think they may be eligible.
On 31 October 2020 the government announced funds for Lancashire (in addition to the Local Restrictions Support Grants, now replaced by Restart Grants) called the Additional Restrictions Grant fund. View more information on the Additional Restrictions Grant on the GOV.UK website.
Funds are limited for this discretionary grant scheme, and local authorities are required to distribute the funds in line with government guidance, with flexibility to establish local criteria for these grant awards.

There is a limited fund for these grant awards. The value of individual grant awards will be based on the volume of applications received and eligible businesses will receive notification by email.
Please note that there is no right of appeal against our decision.
